In 1992 I started to play RPGs on a (more or less) regular basis. Some years after I started to draw portraits for the large amount of characters featured in my group's stories.
One of these portraits is now on DA and I think I will upload also other portraits that I consider good and recent enough. Other oldies will take place on my blog at:

Pickman is descending into madness.
The time has finally come to talk about a project that I care a lot about and for which I am working on the last missing illustrations. Christian Sartirana, Italian horror writer much appreciated by fans of the "weird" genre, asked me to create 12 illustrations, 6 in color and 6 in black and white, for his new novel, a very special story that explores the descent into madness of the Lovecraftian character R.U. Pickman. The novel will be translated in English and will contain, in addition to my illustrations, a series of reproductions of documents from the 1920s. I'll reveal more details and show you new illustrations soon, but beware of your sanity!
Back again.
Recently my DA activity has been somewhat limited. This is mainly due to the fact that I followed projects that diverted my attention from the promotion of my drawings, focusing it on the creation of new images, some of which have seen the light, not always in forms that I fully approved, others perhaps will see the light in the future. At the end of a project that I care a lot about, and which I will talk about in the next posts, I hope to finally find the time to dedicate myself to something really personal that has been in my head for a while. My attention was also attracted by the infamous Facebook, which while remaining an excellent advertising tool for one's work, does not go beyond that, often ending in sterile political or sports squabbles or degenerating into condominium disputes that have little to do with healthy sharing of views. Here on DA I have always found a much more receptive audience and fellow artists and I hope to find some of them again after this long break.
DAGON!
I don’t know if and when I’m going to ink this one (I’m currently working on other stuff, now), but in the meanwhile I hope you may find interesting this link to a new lovecraftian work of mine. I’ll post the inked version on DA as soon as I’ll find the time to come back to this personal project. Fhtagn!

Ars Necronomica 2017
I’m very honored to participate again, with my drawings, to the Lovecraftian exhibition in Providence hosted by the Rhode Island School of Design's gallery. Thanks so much to the exhibition's curators for the wonderful opportunity! Here you can find some additional informations concerning the exhibition:
