"It was his twin brother, but it looked more like the father than he did."

A picture inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's masterpiece "The Dunwich Horror", done as a cover for "Shocking Tales of Madness & Mayhem" issue 3, an expansion of the "Strange Aeons" Miniature Game. [link]

I wanted to try with photomanipulation again, so I basically assembled some picture of my flying polyp sculpture [link] and of a diorama I did for a miniature set.
Hope you like the result. Here you can also download my "SToM&M" covers as wallpapers for your computers:

Wow great atmosphere! I would love to see a photo of the printed cover eventually.

Hey, Martin! I had this comment of yours buried under a huge pile of old unreplyed comments... Thanks for commenting also this work of mine. You can see pictures of the final cover on my blog:

The graphic design is not mine, anyway.

I'm not too crazy about the final result. They could've done something better with the lettering and the green glow (though a green glow effect does fit perfectly with the atmosphere of your artwork), and the remaining typography is just rather chaotic. Still, your art is enough to make it a cover which draws your attention. It's just a pity their designers couldn't match your quality.
